An enzyme cleaner is a liquid you apply directly to a surface. The enzymes are biological catalysts that break protein and organic waste, urine, vomit, blood, spoiled food, into smaller compounds that no longer smell. Ozone is the opposite approach. Can I use an enzyme cleaner and oxidation together?
Yes, and on tougher jobs you should, just in the right order. Treat and saturate the source with the enzyme first, let it do its work and dry, then run an oxidizing step in the air to clear odor the liquid could not reach. Oxidizing first does not help the buried organic source, and oxidation alone will not pull urine crystals out of padding. They cover each other's blind spots when used in sequence.
